In my artistic work, I explore the intersection between graphic design and illustration.
I'm interested in emphasizing the expressiveness of characters, the visual intensity of the composition, and a clear conceptual synthesis built around a strong central idea.
I choose colors and textures that help me develop a contemporary aesthetic, while also reinforcing the conceptual direction chosen for each project.
Here are some examples of my work:
June 27th
On June 27, 1973, the coup d’état that marked the beginning of the Uruguayan dictatorship took place.
Since then, this date has been commemorated each year as the “Day of Resistance” or the “Never Again Dictatorship Day.”
These illustrations are part of that ongoing act of remembrance.

Preventive War
This is a cartoon I created around the paradoxical concept of “preventive war.”
Although it was inspired by recent armed conflicts, I intentionally avoided referencing any specific historical moment or particular conflict, as the concept has been repeatedly invoked throughout modern history.
The Delegation of Beauty
To create this cartoon, I was inspired by the concept of the delegation of cognitive functions, as explored by Miguel Benasayag.
I aimed to represent visually how, in our interactions with generative AIs, we are delegating the real aesthetic experience to the machines, while our role is reduced to passively selecting from among the options the machine itself defines as appropriate.

The Fixation of Bodies
In these satirical cartoons, I explored the concept of “the fixation of bodies,” as proposed by Éric Sadin in La Vie Spectrale.
Corporate Illustration – Elefante.tv
This illustration was created to be printed as a decorative piece for the offices of the animation studio Elefante.tv.
The goal was to integrate the company’s logo into a scene that, in a simple and minimalist way, conveys its identity as an animation studio.

Cover Illustration for Little Red Riding Hood
The original Little Red Riding Hood tale is much more brutal than most of the versions we're used to.
I created this cover illustration for that version as an exercise in Dani Scharf’s Conceptual Illustration workshop.
I worked from the idea of a patriarchal pact represented in the story, embodied in the complicity between the wolf and the cat.

Therapeutic Process
These are some illustrations I created as part of my personal therapeutic process.
My therapist suggested that I explore situations from my childhood and adolescence, reflect on the emotions they evoked, and try to represent them through images.
